Windows - Parallel Studio C++/Fortran 2017 Update 4 installation crash

Hi,

I just tried to install update 4, and it crashes the installation right at the end after updating all the packages, trying to update the tools in VS2015.  I have VS2017 installed as well, but it never gets to there.  It's done this three times now.

Which logs do you need?

Damien

It can happen when some products of the same family have been previously installed. Usually it happens at the end of installation, when all components are already installed.

This issue was resolved by the following steps:
1. Remove all current and older versions of Intel products
2. Repair VS 2015
3. Reinstall PSXE 2017 update 4

Hello,

Thank you for the report. Install logs would be helpful

They are located in Temp, i.e.

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\pset_tmp_PSXE2017_username\2017.04.xx_xxxxxxxxxxx\log

Please open VS, go to Help>About> click Copy Info and send us the text file with pasted information. Then click System Info and send us the copy of System Summary.

 Regards,
