We need to monitor the RAID health on a Dell T40, which uses Intel VROC technology. It seems that the CLI is no longer supported. Is there any way to monitor the status? Is there a CLI available?

Device is Intel(R) C600+/C220+ series chipset SATA RAID Controller

Driver version is 6.0.0.1342

OS is MS Server 2019

Hello ConEdLtd,

Thank you for contacting Intel® Memory and Storage support.

As we understand, you need assistance with your Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel® VROC) configuration in your Dell* system using the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) driver. If we infer correctly, please review the following information:

  1. We advise you to contact your OEM Dell* to get further assistance regarding the options available to monitor your RAID with the drivers and tools available at their website (https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/poweredge-t40/drivers)
  2. We advise you to update your drivers to the latest version available on the OEM website (https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=m2hwd&oscode=ws19l&productcode=poweredge-t40)
  3. We offered drivers and VROC support to our server products (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29561/Intel-Virtual-RAID-on-CPU-Intel-VROC-SATA-Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Enterprise-Intel-RSTe-Windows-Driver-for-S2600WT-S2600CW-S2600TP-S2600KP-Families?wapkw=Vroc) and the drivers available at our website are generic and may or may not work with your system. That’s why we advise you to check with Dell* before trying any of the solutions available at our site.

About Intel® software and drivers:

The driver or software for your Intel component might have been changed or replaced by the computer manufacturer. We recommend you work with your computer manufacturer before installing our driver, so you don’t lose features or customization.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best regards.
