Windows crashes by itself once or twice a week since I implemented VROC. Microsoft doesn't have hotfix yet. Does Intel have something to fix this problem ?

Hello Danone.

Thank you for contacting Intel Technical Support.

Based on the configuration you shared with us we found the following information:

  • Motherboard Model and Manufacturer: Asus rampage extreme VI is a Gaming motherboard it was not designed to be used as a server board.
  • The Asus rampage extreme VI was designed to work with Windows® 10 64-bit and has some drivers available for other older operating systems (OS) none of them are a server distribution.
  • The Intel® SSD 760p Series was not tested or validated to work with your Asus rampage extreme VI motherboard (based on the http://compatibleproducts.intel.com/ProductDetails?prodSearch=True&searchTerm=Intel%C2%AE%20SSD%20760p%20Series Intel® Product Compatibility Tool).
  • The Intel® SSD 760p Series was not designed to be used on a datacenter environment and that will void the SSD warranty.
  • The Asus Hyper M.2 X16 Card is not supported tested or validated by Intel® to be used with our M.2 devices.

This being said your current configuration is not supported by Intel® and it is expected to experience errors.

The 0x000000d1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL iaVroc.sys error as you mentioned is related to the specific OS you have on your system and Microsoft is currently working on a solution and Intel® does not have a specific solution for it.

Our only recommendation is to wait for an update on this thread:

We hope you find this information useful.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hi again,

I did several test finally I found that memory is not in mainboard vql list and as a result is not compatible with mainboard and somehow it triggered vroc.sys still don't know exactly how it is related to vroc but It actually problem is corsair ddr4 4133mhz ram(there is nothing wrong with ram just not compatible with mainboard). I ended up with buying GSkill ddr4 4200mhz it has been 3 weeks and without having single problem.

I am now 100% sure above configuration is working
