x86_64 PSE or PAE before 64bits

Hello everyone.

I'm working on a new project and I'm quiet new in Intel architecture.

I would like to address more than 4Gb of RAM memory with my 32bits code.

I read in Intel® 64 and IA-32 Architectures Software Developer’s Manual than It is possible to use PSE or PAE to do so.

I made some test on my CPU (i7-3612QE) configuration but I not manage to address more than my 4Gb of RAM (8Gb are available on my board).

Do you have any idea regarding this topic? What should I try?
