I have two 160GB Intel X-25 M G2 in Raid 0 on my laptop.
The array performance has deteriorated over time and I would like to improve it.
I could secure erase each drive and manually reinstall operating system, programs and data.
I have read that the same can be achieved by making first a disk image of the array, with for example, Acronis True Image, secure erase the drives and then re-imaged the raid array.
Is this second option as good as the first one?
Thanks,
Antonio
