I want to install a Intel SSD Pro 2500 series 360GB in a Dell Precision M6500M but the Bios version A10 don't recognises the disk.

Is it possible that i have to do some updates to the SSD itself ?

Hello Bosser,

It would be important to ask Dell* why the SSD is not compatible with your system.About the Sandisk* SSD and our drive, both of the drives are SATA 3.0 6Gb/S, so it should be able to detect it fine; however, they already told you is not compatible or validated.Maybe the system does not handle latest technology or all other features of our drive, which is the difference we can notice and that could be the root cause of this situation.http://ark.intel.com/products/86733/Intel-SSD-Pro-2500-Series-360GB-2_5in-SATA-6Gbs-16nm-MLC Here are some specs of our drive.Regards,NC
