Hi there, I'm arseni and I'd like to build a gaming PC.
Im going to buy a Z390 MoBo and I7 9700k CPU.
Can i run a 16x speed GPU (GTX1660ti) and an M.2 SSD?
Does the GPU takes all the PCIe lanes? Should I use an M.2 SATA or M.2 MVNE SSD?
The graphics card will indeed consume all of the PCIe lanes offered by the processor. The chipset (PCH Component), however, offers additional PCIe lanes that can be used to run a M.2 NVMe SSD. A good (Samsung 970 PRO, for example) M.2 NVMe SSDs will be 6x faster (yes, six times faster for both read and write operations) than any M.2 SATA SSD. Stick with NVMe.
