Can I treat the Intel DC P3600 1.6TB PCIE NVME as a normal ssd and use it as a boot drive without any repercussions?

I'm using the ASUS PRIME X370-PRO AM4 motherboard. I would like to use the Intel DC P3600 1.6TB PCIE NVME as a normal ssd and install Windows 10 on it. I don't have any other drives. If it does work, what problems could I encounter?

Thanks for replying!

I have performed the necessary steps.

However this message appears: Please contact your Intel representative about firmware update for this drive.

Attached is the screenshot.

Hello janeong,

Thank you for trying the suggestion provided. In the image I can see that your SSD has serial number CVMD4492003U1P6KGN, which according to our database, is associated with an OEM drive. As I commented in a previous message the corresponding tool and firmware version should be provided by the OEM, since they are not compatible with our tools. It seems that your SSD is an OEM version provided by Sun Oracle, so in order to obtain the adequate assistance, please visit https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/MosIndex.jspx?_afrLoop=550776464663819&_afrWindowMode=0&_adf.... https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/MosIndex.jspx?_afrLoop=550776464663819&_afrWindowMode=0&_adf....
