Hello Fisker,

Thank you for your question.

There are many compatible motherboards using the Intel® H170 Chipset. However we cannot guarantee compatibility based on the chipset only.

The main requirement for the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/solid-state-drives/solid-state-drives-600p-series.html Intel® SSD 600p Series is a storage M.2 slot, supporting PCIe* NVMe* generation 3.0 by 4 lanes. In this case we would like to recommend for you to confirm compatibility with the motherboard manufacturer.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Best regards,

The Intel H170 includes DMI3 support, which means it will support the full bandwidth requirements of an Intel 600p. The H170 chipset itself won't be a limiting factor on a mother board when using a 600p.
