Criptografia de hardware AES 256 bit SSD 540s 480Gb

Senhores,

Marcos_Andrade,

According to our translator, you need to know how exactly the encryption on this drive works.First of all, we would like to let you know the drive comes with AES 256-bit self encryption, that being said, you need to setup the password for it so no one can access your drive, even if it is plugged as a secondary drive. This feature is always enabled and the data is encrypted and decrypted using a key, however, this is transparent to the the user unless you set a password (for example using ATA password security in the BIOS), then the password will be needed to decrypt the encryption key and access the drive. This way, it would be virtually impossible to read the data unless you have the security password.Hope this information works, if you have any other question please let us know.NC

Marcos_Andrade,

About the setup of the password in order to have the encryption enabled, this feature needs to be setup in the BIOS of each motherboard, for that you need to enter the BIOS screen and look for the security option, where you need to setup the master password.Hope this information helps.
