DC P3500

New Contributor

Hello

how can I make a DC P3500 bootable on a S2600CO board?

The board Firmware is new - SSD is not recognized as a boot drive. (EFI)

In running system, the SSD runs fine under Win2012R2.

Thank you S.G.

Hello BWC,

Here are some aspects and recommendations that may help:

- The Intel® SSD DC P3700, P3600 and P3500 Series are bootable and support installation of an operating system on platforms that support UEFI* 2.3.1 BIOS. Please contact the manufacturer of your motherboard and confirm the UEFI version used in your system.

- Make sure that the drive is connected to a PCIe Gen 3.0 x8 or x16 slot in your PC.

- Contact the board manufacturer and get updated firmware (BIOS) for your motherboard.

- Use the most recent driver version for your SSD. Version 1.1.0.1004 can be downloaded from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProdId=3810 Intel Download Center.
