I called support today and asked them why I would want to spend and addition 30% more money to purchase the Pro 5400S Series over the 540S Series. The specs are identical.
Support never came up with an answer, Why would I want to spend the extra bucks for the Pro 5400S Series?

1) Are the Pro 5400S Series faster then the 540S Series?
2) Are the Pro 5400S Series more reliable then the 540S?
3) Do the Pro 5400S Series use better memory then the 5400S?
Come on Intel. How about a couple down to earth reasons, in layman terms, why I should pick these drives over the 540S Series?
It can't be that difficult.....
