First time - is this all there is to do?

My first SSD will be here in a couple days and just want to make sure I have everything lined up. I've been reading up on what you need to do to get it working, is this it? Did I miss anything?

From the Intel SSD user guide:

Verify scheduled Defrag is turned off.

Disable Superfetch

Make sure you have the proper drivers installed - Intel Rapid Storage Technology V 9.6?

From else where I read:

Set the bios to AHCI mode when installing Windows

Use the latest Intel RST drivers

Run the optimization tool from the Intel SSD toolbox

Do I need the Toolbox?

What I have:

Intel X25-M Mainstream SSDSA2MH080G2R5 80Gig

Custom computer

Windows 7 Pro 32 bit

Gigabyte MB

Intel Quad Q8400

4G memory

Thanks for any help.

Will

Seems right to me. I just completed mine and went REALLY quick. Just be sure your SSD has the lastest firmware update which recently came out. You can get it here.

Cool thanks.

Am I missing something I downloaded the Toolbox and the firmware, where is the driver? It wasn't in the list of downloads. Isn't there a Rapid Storage driver?
