HMEP Emulator

Hi,

I'm conducting research on NVM and noticed that multiple papers make use of the "HMEP emulator" which is developed by Intel.

I was wondering whether it would be possible to gain access to the software.

Thanks in advance!

Hello shai_bergman,

Thanks for posting.

This "HMEP Emulator" is not supported through this platform and there's no information about it in our sites. You can contact our Developer Zone as they might have similar technologies and could point you in the right direction. There's also another thread within our community asking for a similar tool:

- https://software.intel.com/en-us/support Intel® Developer Zone Support

-

Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you.

Best regards,

Hi Eugenio,

Thanks for the swift reply.

I was referring to a previous post in this forum ( ) , and also found this one (https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-moderncode-for-parallel-architectures/topic/710252 Is there any emulator(PMEP) for persistent memory? ) which is located on the developer zone, and referred the author to this forum.

I wanted to emulate different access latencies w/o the clflush commands, and I'm not sure who to contact.

Thanks for the help!

Hello shai_bergman,

Thanks for your reply. The problem might be that this is not an Intel product (or at least not one that we distribute).

You may want to check with the https://groups.google.com/forum/# !forum/pmem Google* Persistent Memory group. Also, most documents regarding persistent memory refer to http://www.gatech.edu/ Georgia Institute of Technology computer department.

NOTE: Links to third party sites are being offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel of the content, products, or services offered there.
