How can you find a Date Code on a Solid State Drive?

Jump to solution

I have a SSD and trying to figure out a Date Code (DC) on the part.

Product Code:SSDSCKKW120H6X1

Currently on the manufacturer label there is no clear indication of a DC.

How or where can you find a DC on a Solid State Drive?

Hello Al_Win_,

By date code, we understand you're looking for the manufacture date of your product. If this is correct, that information will not be found in your product code, but rather on the individual serial number (ISN).

For an example, we're going to look at this SSD found in our http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/solid-state-drives/000005681.html Article ID: 000005681.

ISN: CVDA33110FN180H ---> Manufacture Date: July 25th, 2013

A1A2B1B2B3CDECVDA331101FN180H A1A2B1Year of ManufactureB2Work Week of ManufactureB3Calendar Day (0-6; 0="Sunday", 1="Monday"...)CRunning number (0-9, A-Z) Sequential number, Base 34.DDensity in GBEForm Factor CodeF

Please let us know if this is the information you were searching for.

Best regards,

Carlos A.
