I find the INTEL SSD D3-S4510 at some suppliers with and without the addition "enterprice" - here my question: is there the INTEL SSD D3-S4510 with and without "enterprice" - and if so, what is the difference?

Hello ToKu,

Thank you for contacting Intel® Memory and Storage support.

As we understand, you need assistance with the Intel® SSD D3-S4510 Series. If we infer correctly, we will appreciate it if you can elaborate more on what you mean by Enterprise. To better understand your inquiry and provide you with further information regarding your drive.

Please consider that this is a data center SSD, and it is designed to be used on a server or enterprise environment. Would you mind sharing the model number or the link of the site that you saw this description of the drive?

We will follow up with you again on Thursday, the 8th of April 2021, if we do not receive an answer from you. Please let me know if you would like to schedule a different date for the follow-up.

Thanks for the answer.

We would like to change the HDDs to SSDs on an HP Proliant server - for this we are thinking about the INTEL SSD D3-S4510.

We have found sellers who offer these SSDs with the additional designation "Enterprise", but also sellers without this additional designation:

without additional designation:  cyberport.at

with additional designation:  Intel D3 S4510 2,5 Zoll Enterprise SSD SSDSC2KB038T801

and also:  Intel 480 GB D3 S4510 3D2 NAND SSD (SSDSC2KB480G801)

My questions about this:
1) are all INTEL SSD D3-S4510 suitable for servers?
2) what does "Enterprise" mean for the INTEL SSD D3-S4510?

Best regards,

ToKu
