Intel 320 160GB SSD shows as 8mb?

Hello everyone I have a brand new intel 320 160GB SSD and my PC froze so it had to be restarted now it shows my SSD is only at 8mb capacity and wont boot?

Is there a fix for this or will I have to send this back?

Has anyone had a problem with the firmware update process and not being able to see the SSD to do the update?
