Intel DC S3500 VS DC S3700

Dear all,

I would like to ask you which SSD drive could fit the best for my work needs.

I am professional 3D engineer and retouching artist, so I am working all the time with software like Solidworks 2014 premium/Simulation and Adobe Photoshop CC14. I am travelling a lot so I need to upgrade my HDD in my laptop to a new SSD drive which could handle all workloads and be reliable on the roads – especially to be able to resist shock or vibrations during my travels.

Should my investment be an Intel DC S3500 series or an Intel DC S3700 series drive?

Thank you for your answer,

Best regards,

Boris Garami.

OR, is it even possible to run these drives in a laptop? Should I look for a different series of SSDs?

Thank you one more time,

regards,

Boris.

The first thing you may probably want to focus on is compatibility. We suggest asking your system manufacturer for a list of validated SSD models.

Then, you may compare the specifications between those validated models here: http://ark.intel.com/ http://ark.intel.com/.
