Intel Optane Memory 설치 오류

Gigabyte z370 aorus gameing 3 메인보드와 Intel Optane Memory 16GB를 사용중입니다.

Bios 설정을 요구하는 대로 하고 SetupOptaneMemory.exe 파일을 다운받아서 설치를 한 뒤 재부팅을 했습니다.

부팅이되고 Optane 메모리를 설치 중 입니다. 라는 프로그래스 바가 뜨고 10분 정도 기다렸더니 블루 스크린이 뜨면서

컴퓨터가 강제 재부팅이 됐고 Optane Memory 프로그램에서는 요구조건이 충족되지 않는다고 뜹니다.

프로그램을 삭제 한 뒤 다시 설치를 하려고 했더니 설치를 하는 동안 오류가 발생했습니다. 라고 뜨며 로그만 남깁니다.

In order to better assist you with this situation, could you please provide the following information:

1. Could you please let us know if the error that you are getting is on https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000024113/memory-and-storage/intel-optane-m... this list.

2. Please download and run the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- Intel® System Support Utility on one of these computers (or both). Run the scan selecting "Everything." Save this report and upload.

3.Could you please let us know in which M.2 port on your motherboard is connected the Optane™?

4.How many drives do you have connected to the motherboard(Could you let us know the specific ports)?

5.Was the Optane™ working before?

Hi, thanks to your help.

- I got any error code even I couldn't install the software.

I tried to install Intel Optane Memory App on my PC.

After the installation and rebooting, I was waited for 10 minutes at this screen and blue-screen(windows) appeared.

After rebooting, I got trouble with Intel RST App and Intel Optane Memory App at last step of the installation.

(My translation -> Installation is stopped with that reason. Error occurred during installation. You can see the log file at here.)

3.Could you please let us know in which M.2 port on your motherboard is connected the Optane™?

- Second one (far from CPU).

4.How many drives do you have connected to the motherboard(Could you let us know the specific ports)?

-DISK0 : Toshiba SSD - SATA port 0

-DISK1 : WD HDD - SATA port 1

-DISK2 : Samsung SSD - M.2 Port 0 (Close from CPU)

-DISK3 : Intel Optane Memory - M.2 Port 1 (Far from CPU)

5.Was the Optane™ working before?

- No, It's first time to install.

Thanks for the information provided.

 

 

Based on that, we found that your boot drive is an NVMe* SSD. Optane™ only works with SATA boot drives. It means that your boot drive(NVMe*) is already fast and the acceleration benefit won't be noticeable as it will be with an HDD drive.

If you want to use the Optane™ Module, we recommend you to install Windows(R) 10 in the largest HHD as we do not support secondary drives acceleration.

OK.

But, I still can't install RST software too...

Anyway thanks a lot. I'll figure it out.

Hi ionseok,

 

 

In order for you to install Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST), you need to uninstall the Intel® Optane™ software in order to avoid issues. Both applications can't be at the same time in your system.
