Intel S4500 디스크를 사용하고 있습니다. LSI3008-IR Controller 와 함께 사용하고 있습니다. LSI3008-IR controller에 S4500 1.9TB를 RAID 1 or 1+0 으로 사용하고 있습니다. 사용 중 Write 에 문제가 발생하였습니다. 52.2 MB/s 로 성능이 1/10로 느려지는 상황이 발생 하였습니다. 해결 방안을 부탁 드립니다.

We will appreciate if you can provide us with the following information: • The SSU logs. 1- Go to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/ and download the software. 2- When finished downloading it, open it. 3- Attach the file obtained to your reply. • The SMART logs extracted from your Intel® SSD DC S4500 Series. The same symptoms have occurred in our office tests.

 

In addition, our clients have tested in a variety of ways.

 

[method 1]

Intel SSD Firmware upgrade.

[method 2] LSI3008 Raid Controller Firmware upgrade, etc.

 

All of the same symptoms have occurred and did not occur on the Intel SSD S4510 Disk.

Attach the /var/ log/messages file.

 

These symptoms are not continuous symptoms.

 

We have had 115 of 1883 trials.

 

I tested the write speed with dd command after booting.

 

I understand that this issue now appears on many sites.

Hello, sunswat, Thank you for your reply. Based on the logs provided the SSDs seem to be working as expected and no SMART errors or alerts were found in our Intel® SSD DC S4500 Series hardware. In order to get further information about the environment that this SSD is been used. We will appreciate if you can provide us with the SSU logs extracted from your PC. • The SSU logs. 1- Go to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26735/ and download the software. 2- When finished downloading it, open it. 3- Attach the file obtained to your reply. SSU.tar does not seem to be available in this version.

Is there anything that fits this version?

Hello, sunswat, Thank you for your reply. Based on the Logs you shared with us the Intel® SSDs DC S4500 Series are not reporting any kind of SMART errors/alerts. In the other hand, the SSU log is not showing your SSDs as detected, this can be due to the usage of a RAID controller as your LSI*3008 and the OS compatibility. We advise you to check with the RAID controller manufacturer for updates of the firmware and compatibility.
