I have 4 of the Intel SSD 520 120GB drives,

One of them, the Windows drive C is showing warning in SMART about:

"AA Available Reserved Space

E8 Available Reserved Space

Contact your reseller or local Intel represantive for assistance."

So i don't know how to solve this.

All the drives have 5 years warrenty, and they are 3 years old now.

Any help would been appreciated.

Hello,

Ok what does that mean? Is the drive failing? or worn out? or something else?

How do i Contact support? Advise? by mail or?

Hello Nerius,

This is not a sign of hard failure, but is showing signs of normal wearout. Please be aware that drive wearout is not covered by warranty.

To engage support, you can go to the following website: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/contactsupport Contact Support. Here you will be able to select a region and product to find out the contact methods available.

Ok so what have happened? Why is this showing?

The E9 Media wearout Indicator says ready for use and seems ok.Why do these two, AA and E8 shows this?

I will try to find and get in contact with support.

The Uncorrectable Error Count shows the count of errors that could not be recovered using Error Correction Code. The Available Reserved Space attribute reports the number of reserve

blocks remaining. In your case, the SSD has reached 10% availability of the Reserved Space.

Please make sure you have a valid back of any important data and contact support so they can inform you of further options.

Ok, thank you for the explaination.

Just got info from support that this normal use is not covered in warranty.

So much for that 5 years warranty.

Next drive will be of another brand.

Thank you Jonathan for your support.
