Intel SSD Toolbox has stopped running after automated update, diagnostics failed

SSD Toolbox has stopped running after automated update, diagnostics failed, the update program writes.

I cannot tell more than that is

a SSDSA2M080G2GC drive

and Windows 7

So, I cannot run Intel SSD Toolbox now. It starts running, but the blue screen picture is frozen.

I have tried it several times, removing and reinstalling the software.

I cannot validate the above drive among the drives mentioned in the manual, which can work

with this software.

Please, who can help?

Would you please elaborate about the automatic update you are referring to? What update was installed?

Intel® SSD Toolbox does not have an automatic update feature; it requires the interaction of the user.

Did anything else change in the system from the moment it was working? Was there any other hardware installed or moved to a different SATA port/storage controller?

The automatic update needed only being allowed to be effected on my part, nothing else.

No hardware had been installed previously or additionally.

The former proprietor was an IT professisonal.

He cared about all updates. I myself on my part stopped all updates at all.

Another IT serviceman came and effected all updates anew.

I did not see this software running. But I can see several tools from Intel installed.

Perhaps you may be able to work with your IT consultant in order to roll back or uninstall the latest updates and probably identify the specific one that caused the issue.

You may also use Windows* System Restore to roll back recent changes.
