Is Intel 540s Series M.2 SATA3 SSD (flash) compatible with Retina MacBook Pro 13" (Early-2015)?

Greetings,

I would like to ask could I use an SSD drive from the Intel 540s Series in my Retina MacBook Pro 13" (Early-2015,) which is using a 128GB PCIe-based flash storage at the moment. If not, could you recommend me something else? Is there any alternatives?

Thank you for your time.

Hello Matemihaly,

We understand you would like to know if the Intel® SSD 540s M.2 is compatible with your Retina MacBook Pro 13", normally when it comes to compatibility with Mac* systems, we suggest to contact Apple* Support directly. Here is an article about it: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/solid-state-drives/000006273.html Mac* OS Compatibility for Intel® Solid State Drives.

What we can tell you about the drive specs, for you to ask, is in this link: http://ark.intel.com/products/94421/Intel-SSD-540s-Series-1_0TB-M_2-80mm-SATA-6Gbs-16nm-TLC Intel® SSD 540s Series (1.0TB, M.2 80mm SATA 6Gb/s, 16nm, TLC) Specifications.
