Is there going to be a firmware update for 535 series to solve the high WA problem?

Jump to solution

Is there any possibility? Or the new firmware is already under development?

The https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26085/Intel-Solid-State-Drive-Toolbox Intel® Solid State Drive Toolbox is most Windows* users' preferred method for detecting and updating firmware versions. Alternatively, you can also use the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18363/Intel-SSD-Firmware-Update-Tool?product=86731 Intel® SSD Firmware Update Tool

If you are using the Intel® Solid State Drive 535 Series M.2, the latest firmware version is RG11

If you are using the Intel® Solid State Drive 535 Series 2.5", the latest firmware version is RG21

Intel is currently working on a solution for that, unfortunately we don't have information as to when it will be released. You can take a look at this other thread for further information on this matter: /thread/46941 Intel SSD 530 NAND Write Problem

Best regards,

database64128,

We would be more than glad to provide you a date but, unfortunately, there is no information as to when it will be released.

The best way at the moment would be to use one of the tools mentioned in the previous post and check periodically at your earliest convenience, drop us a line from time to time and/or reach us by either phone or chat and in this way, you don't have to be pending of an answer as you can contact us when it is most convenient for you and of course, we will be more that glad to clarify any doubts or questions you might have.

For your convenience, here is the link where you can choose the best way to contact us: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/contact-support.html Contact Support. Please, let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist you.

Best regard,

Aleki
