Is this a counterfeit or real Intel SSD? I can't find any info on it. Please advise!

I found http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Intel-SSD-535-Series-120GB-SSDSC2BW120H601_60199447536.html?sp... HERE same model with same package and same ID's. I bought this SSD in a large electronics store and IT products in my country and I suspect they sold me a fake intel product.

As you can see in pictures around back sticker the aluminium is dirty and not finished or polished, this is normal? Should I worry or everything seems alright?

The base plate of Intel® SSD's normally has the unfinished look and patterns due to the type of metal used. This side of the drive is not visible once the drive is installed so it is non-polished.

We checked the pictures of the drive and it seems to be an original Intel® SSD 535 Series. The drive's markings and sticker look OK. Here are some useful links:

I just installed and is super. It is a wonderful device with amazing speeds.

I hate how awful is the base plate of 530. I miss the quality (case and internal) of X25-M 50nm.

Btw both the SN and the WWN are different.

Regarding the SN and WNN, they are unique identifiers required for different purposes. The WWN is necessary by some storage technologies, and the ISN is the actual serial number from Intel, so they are both printed in the SSD stickers.
