J'ai voulu effectuer un secure erase sur mon Intel SSD X25-M 160GB , après quelques secondes du lancement de la procédure j'ai eu un message d'erreur indiquant un problème de communication avec le lecteur .
Maintenant mon SSD n'est plus accessible indiquant " Secure Erase cannot be run on the selected drive because ATA security is enabled. Consider turning off ATA security before erasing the selected drive with the Intel SSD Toolbox."
Que puis-je faire ?
Merci pour votre aide .

Mehdi.Chater,
As far as we understand through our internal translator, you are unable to perform the secure erase due to an error message: "Secure Erase cannot be run on the selected drive because ATA is enabled security." Consider turning off ATA before erasing the selected security drive with the Intel SSD Toolbox."
Our recommendation is to perform a power cycle on the SSD, all you need to do is, while the system is on disconnect both cables out of the SSD, power off the computer, plug the cables back and then power on the system again.
Please try that and let us know if it worked.
SSD was working without password before trying to secure erase it , when process started , I got this error , and now my ssd is no more accessible .
Mehdi.Chater,
Do you mean the drive is no longer detected by the system?
Did you try our previous recommendation? Power cycle the SSD?
In case it is no longer detected, could you please try to connect the SSD in a different computer using an external connector?
We will be waiting for your response.
No longer accessible mean ssd has a password now .
Mehdi.Chater,
If the SSD has a password now it means it was setup by the user. Only the person that setup the password will be able to remove it.
Did you try the power cycle already?
We will be waiting for your response.
