RMA Question

I am curious is Intel x25-m drive still under warranty if I was to say buy the item from a 3rd party such as craigslist? If so is there anything I would need to get from the person I am buying from?

Sadly I would love to buy it new but at $2.50 per GB and the fact the 25nm is coming out in 4 months not really a smart investment to buy new. Especially when the SF-1200 controllers are performing on par but at $2 with sales of $1.50 per GB. Thank you.

*edit*

I forgot to mention the drive I am buying was taken from a PC and is being sold by another. So I would be the 4th owner of the drive and no way to get information from the 1st owner.

You can send a Email to find out but most likely the warranty only applies to the one who bought it.

Do state to them if you are getting a retail box SSD or if its a OEM from the seller also you are buying this SSD that has been used! SSD have a limited amount of life that they can write to of the life of the SSD.
