Running Intel optimizer daily?

In the SSD toolbox Intel recommends to run the optimizer weekly, however I have been running it on a daily basis (scheduled to run every morning). Is there any advantage to running it daily, any disadvantages? Will running it daily reduce the lifespan of my drive?

Thanks for any help.

Note that if you write and read more than 25 Gb of information at the ssd per day, on that point is when it is recommended to optimize the ssd in regular basis, otherwise you can optimize the ssd every week, this will not affect the lifespan of the ssd.

There's really no need to run the optimizer daily.

You can monitor the number of writes via the SSD Toolbox. Write down the value of the SMART attribute "Host Writes" in the morning and check again at the end of the day. Most users will be less than 10GB (if that).
