S3500 Series 800GB w 8MB bug!

Got a brand new SSD DC S3500 Series 800 GB disk for my Macbook Pro in february 2014.

Last night it kicked the bucket after a forced power off - from 800 GB to 8,4 MB in 1 secs.

Now, since this bug has been around since 2011, has anyone found a way to recover any data from a drive that's been hit?

If you are not able to remove/reset the password or secure erase the drive I believe the best option will be to contact your nearest http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/contactsupport Intel support team for you to request a warranty replacement.

I have sent SSD for warranty replacement. Warranty dept couldn't help as my SSD says Engineering Sample.

Please help

In this case I suggest you return it to the seller.

I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Seller is not helping since SSD was working and current release of firmware made it unusable.

Can you please find an alternate procedure to re-FLASH old working firmware from engineering development dept.
