I downloaded the NVMe driver 22.214.171.1247 x32-x64, run the setup successfully and rebooted, but in Intel solid state drive toolbox it doesn't appear to have registered the change. it continues to display "Standard NVM Express controller ver 10.0.10240.16431"
Is there anything i can fix?
I'm currently running a Gigabyte z170x Gaming 7 motherboard and Windows 10
Thank you that solves this issue!
Unfortunately I have another issue, which I've seen is somewhat recurring in the forum for while. It involves not being able to boot the ssd after system sleep with this current chip-set and brand of motherboard.
If i try following the guidelines for setting up the Bios by Intel, then the boot drive is not detected (Storage Boot Option --> UEFI ONLY), I've updated my Bios to run the most recent version (F5).
Now honestly it is not a deal-breaker for me, as my computer boots so fast. However i just wanted to see someone had managed to pinpoint the problem.
