The current version or Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) software can be downloaded from: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/55005/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST- https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/55005/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-

Before installing the drivers from our download center, it is advised to contact your http://www.intel.com/support/oems.htm Computer Manufacturer Support. They typically provide software which is specifically configured for your system.

My HP hp-1080t machine running RST 10.1.0.1008 on Windows Home Premium 64 bit is out of support from HP.

Have not been able to find any information about upgrading RST from their HP Site.

I keep getting prompted to download and upgrade to Windows 10, but don't want to until I am assured that I can make RST work as it has saved me once with a failed disk.

I was able to pull the bad disk and replace it with a replacement and RST rebuilt the mirror without any issues.

How do I find out if my HP machine is compatible/upgradable to RST 14.6.0.1029?

Will the Windows 10 upgrade recognize RST or does it upgrade the OS ignoring the RAID configuration and then require you to re-install the RST software and drivers and configure the RAID 1 again?

Hello MFJ,

You should obtain the correct version of iRST RAID Driver from the http://www.intel.com/support/oems.htm Computer Manufacturer Support Websites. Also, they should be the ones to confirm if your PC will work well with Microsoft Windows® 10 or not.

The drivers available from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Drivers & Software are generic versions. The maximum driver version supported will depend on the Chipset embedded in your PC.

For more details about the versions supported by a determined chipset, we advise you to create a new thred in the community.
