Anyone, I have searched and searched and cant seem to find a solution, is it something i did wrong on install.

Mikehe,

I'll try to help you figure out what is going on, but need to know some more information. What tool are you using to measure performance in Win 7? Do you have the Intel storage driver(iMSM or RST) loaded? Do you know what SATA setting you have in BIOS?

Regards,

1. The tools are ASD and Crystal Mark

2. I did fresh instal and used the AHCI 8.0.23 from Acers web site for 64bit win 7 its an Intel Driver

3. Sata settings in BIOS are set to AHCI
