.bin files on the root OS drive

I have a x25m g2 and upgrade to the firmware 02HD. Ive also used the Intel SSD toolbox v1.1 and Ran the "Intel SSD Optimizer". After that i have a bunch of .bin files in my root OS drive? Can these be deleted safetly? If not what are they?

I am having this exact same problem. I'm unable to complete a single run of the SSD toolbox on my Win 7 x64 system for my 80GB X25-M G2 drive with latest firmware. Can somebody provide insight into why this problem is occuring and how to work through it?
