Hi All,
I know this has been posted before but never found a resolution there is a SSD Intel drive I'm trying to get to connect to another PC to safely backup the data off it & shows up in device manager but can't get drivers for it & this is the error message assistant has when installing...

We understand your situation regarding the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant that you are not able to install due to error code 80070643.
We would like to let you know that this application only supports the following products: Graphics drivers, wireless networking, Intel® NUCs, and Intel® Compute Sticks. We already tested the application in our lab and it does not provide SSDs information or drivers.

This SSD does not require any driver to work since it is a SATA SSD.
We would like to confirm the following information:
-Please post a screenshot of the device manager with the "Disk drives" tab expanded.
-Under device manager, Right click the unknown device and select properties.
-Go to the "Details" Tab.
-Under the drop-down menu, select the option that says "Hardware ID".
-Please provide us the information that is available there.
-Repeat the same process with the "Mass Storage Controller" that is listed under other devices too.
