intel ssd toolbox crashes during Optimizer

zyuan2

when i run the SSD optimizer, it would always crash at 90% on the green progress bar. it would then create all the intel_trim_files in C: drive and these files stay until i run intel SSD toolbox again which then the trim files all disappear.

i have gotten it to work sometimes, but i do not see any consistency.

intel 750 SSD PCI-E

intel SSD toolbox version 3.3.0

windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

have tried reinstalling SSD toolbox

windows disk clean up option did not work for me

Zhe1274,

These files are created normally during the TRIM and will be deleted when this function is finished.

What exactly do you mean when you say it crashes?

What OS are you running?

Do you get any error messages?

Does your computer freeze?

yes i know these files are created normally during TRIM and will be deleted when the function is finished, HOWEVER it never actually succeeds in finishing as it always crashes when it reaches 90% progress. which means the trim files stay on my C: drive and will only disappear if i manually delete them or if i start intel SSD toolbox.

it crashes as in the windows pop up notification comes up that says

"Intel SSD Toolbox has stopped working

Windows can check online for a solution to the problem."

i can either click online for a solution and close the program, or close the program.

i am running windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

i do not get any error messages aside from the pop up from window.

my computer does not freeze.
