wicked bad perf -- drive toasted?

Win 7.

C Drive: INTEL SSDSA2MH080G1GC ATA Device

D Drive: WDC WD1500ADFD-00NLR4 ATA Device (raptor)

E Drive: INTEL SSDSA1MH080G1GN ATA Device

Maybe not the most scientific test, but anything involving my c drive is slow, ... 8x slower on same-drive-copy compared to the other ssd!?

Copying 3gb ...

d to d: 2.02 mins

d to c: 3.97 mins

c to c: 8.37 mins

c to e: 1.45 mins

e to e: 1.14 mins

e to d: 1.18 mins

Is this drive toasty? Something else I should look at before I RMA?

I can't believe that actually worked! When I booted back up, windows detected and installed a new driver (weird). but then all better!
