Lunar Lake Thunderbolt EGPU problem

I have a ASUS Zenbook S16 UX5606SA. When connect EGPU Razer Core X with a RTX3080Ti, the touchpad will be disabled, wifi and bluetooth disconnected, and the graphic card is also not recognized.

All drivers/bios are up to date.

The EGPU is working fine with my old laptop msi prestige 15 a10sc running i7-10710U.

Hello @RaymondWong ,

Thank you for posting in the community. To further investigate, I have a few questions I'd like to ask. Please see them below:

  1. How are you connecting the eGPU to your Zenbook?
  2. Have you tried using a different Thunderbolt/USB-C cable or port?
  3. Are there any error messages or device warnings in Device Manager
  4. Have you reached out to ASUS for further assistance?
  5. Does the issue occur when the eGPU is connected before booting, or only when hot-plugged after the system is on?
  6. Have you installed the latest Thunderbolt drivers and firmware for your Zenbook from ASUS support?
  7. Does the issue persist when booting into Safe Mode or a clean boot environment?

Additionally, I want to set the right expectations regarding this matter. Since you're using an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) device, I can only provide general troubleshooting. If the issue persists after these steps, I recommend contacting Dell for further investigation.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of your system, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This tool will generate a text file compiling all your system information. You can follow the instructions at this link and send the text file here: Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility
