Hello SGerm5,
Thank you for your response.
If we understood well, the wireless adapter was installed/upgraded after purchasing the computer. Please confirm this information.
Based on the details provided, we recommend that you perform a Clean Installation of Wireless Drivers (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi). Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) drivers first.
Step 1: Get the latest system-specific driver from your computer manufacturer support.
It seems that Lenovo* has drivers compatible with your current system configuration. Try to use these drivers.
If you require further details about driver compatibility, we recommend that you contact Lenovo* support.
Step 2: Uninstall your Wi-Fi driver.
Windows* may have an inbox Wi-Fi driver for your wireless adapter. You can't uninstall an inbox driver (you won't see the "Delete the driver software for this device" option). Proceed to the next step if you start seeing the same version of the driver installed automatically after it’s uninstalled.
- Go to Device Manager.
- Expand the Network Adapters category.
- Right-click your Intel Wireless Adapter/Bluetooth and choose to uninstall it.
- Make sure to select the option to Delete the driver software for this device.
- Restart your computer.
Step 3: Driver installation.
Locate the drivers you downloaded back in Step 1. Run as administrator, and follow the wizard to completion.
If the problem persists, try to install the generic drivers available at our site using the clean install steps.

Hello SGerm5,
We would like to provide an update.
Based on the information provided on this thread, it seems that the wireless integration is most likely causing this issue.
Wireless upgrade/integration may or may not work due to the following reasons:
1. Hardware/software compatibility issues or dependencies.
2. Manufacturer limitations.
3. Driver limitations.
Regulatory Information Regarding Wireless Hardware Installation or Upgrade
In this scenario, we recommend that you contact your Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to make sure your computer is up to date and working under design specifications.

Hello SGerm5,
We are glad to know that your Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) was able to provide you with more information about hardware compatibility.
If we understood correctly, you mentioned that the Intel® Wireless-AC 9260 did not come with the computer. For this reason, if the problem started happening after installing the adapter in your computer, our recommendation is that you contact your OEM to check the health of your computer.
It is worth mentioning that your computer should work when using default settings.
