Hello JinoHuang,

Thank you for joining this Intel Community.

I understand that you would like to get confirmation about creating an Ad-Hoc network in 5 GHz. I would like to assist you.

Due to regulatory requirements, an ad-hoc network is not supported in 5 GHz using Intel® Wireless Adapters.

Please refer to this support website > Connectivity for more information.

Hello JinoHuang,

Thank you for your response.

I would like to confirm that Intel® Wireless-AC 9260 supports 5GHz channels. However, implementation can vary depending on local regulatory requirements. Regarding these regulatory requirements, please allow me to do further research to provide accurate information.
