AC non-vPro 9560 WPA3 GCMP-128 support

Does AC9560 support WPA3 enterprise authentication with Encryption:128bit-AES-GCMP?

It seems WPA2 with 128bit-AES-GCMP supported but I can't find WPA3 and 128bit-AES-GCMP combination.

If it's not supported, does anyone know which wireless module support it?

Hello Yutanpopo,

You can confirm which authentication and ciphers are supported in infrastructure by running the command netsh wlan show all. Then look for the authentication and cipher supported options, but the wireless card WPA3 supports CCMP or GCMP-256.

Please let me know if you have any concerns.

Hi Steven,

Thank you for your reply.

So basically Intel wireless cards support WPA3 GCMP-256. However there's no wireless cards that support WPA3 GCMP-128?

Hello Yutanpopo,

Please take a look at the information on the following article regarding WPA3 https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000054783/wireless.html

Still, our best recommendation is to contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) since this has to be compatible with the OS and other features. In addition, we do not advise changing wireless adapters due to regulatory concerns. Feel free to take a look at this article for more accurate information https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005687.html

Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel. Thank you for your understanding.
