Hello,

I can't use Wi-fi direct. It doesn't work on all screens.

I can search all devices but not connect.

You can see the SSU Intel Logs + log Event Windows.

Do you have some ideas?

Thanks

Regards

Hello mathieu__,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I am sorry to know that you are having issues with your Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (Gig+).

In order to better assist you, please try the following:

1. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed on your computer or did you change/install the adapter to this one?

2. Is the Bluetooth working or are you having issues connecting to the internet?

3. Is this issue recent? If so, when did it start?

4. Do you get any errors at the device manager?

5. Can you get a video or pictures where we can see the issue?

6. You mentioned "doesn't work on all screens.", how many devices are you trying to connect? Also, what is the model of the devices?

7. Have you checked this behavior with Dell?

Hello mathieu__,

Thanks for the information provided. Before I continue further, I would like to confirm the following:

1. Please sent/attach the picture of the error from the device manager.

2. Have you confirmed with Philips if the TV is compatible with Wi-Fi Direct?

3. Can you confirm if you tried to add your phone and TV to the laptop using the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  2. Click Add Bluetooth or other devices.
  3. Under Add a device, select Everything else.
  4. Once your mobile phone appears, select it.
  5. Click Done when finished.

4. Can you confirm if the issue is present with Dell drivers?

You mentioned "No original network card" and I understand that this is not the original adapter. If that is the case, I recommend you to check with Dell to confirm compatibility and support. Bear in mind that the manufacturers (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, etc) take the generic drivers (Intel) and customized them to work perfectly with their systems and can add, block, and modify features as they think are needed.
