AX210 and events 7025/7026 (Netwtw10)

I noticed that after restarting the laptop or coming out of sleep, a large number of events 7025 and 7026 appear in the Windows log

7025 - Dump after return from D3 before cmd

7026 - Dump after return from D3 after cmd

What are these events?
Is it possible to disable them somehow?

Because their number exceeds thousands, and this makes it difficult to find other events...

Driver Version: 22.80.0.9

I specifically did not install a new version of the driver after reinstalling the OS, I thought maybe it was because earlier, before reinstalling the OS, I installed the current version of the driver, there was also the same problem!

Hi, qwerty007.

I appreciate your flexibility while we look at this. After carefully checking and conducting some research, we need to ask some more questions in order to find an accurate resolution to the issue:

  • You stated that the problem occurred after you changed the wireless card. Can you tell me why you changed your wireless card?
  • What was the model of your previous wireless card?
  • You said that the driver was installed automatically after you reinstalled the OS. Have you tried updating the driver from our download center or from the Lenovo website? I have checked the driver version (https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=intel+wireless+2230) however it appears that this is not our Intel generic driver and is from the Windows update catalog.
  • Have you contacted ASUS technical support about this issue since your original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is ASUS?
  • Kindly provide the (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057926/memory-and-storage.html) of your computer. This will help us examine your system configuration more closely. Because the information you gave is not enough yet.

Moreover, please be guided that these errors are related to the network driver. At this moment, I recommend updating the wireless driver via the Asus website (https://www.asus.com/my/support/download-center/) or you may use our Intel Generic driver (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19351/windows-10-and-windows-11-wi-fi-drivers-for-intel-wireless-adapters.html). In this way, updating drivers allow you to use new programs and new hardware. This may also help resolve issues and bugs/system faults from the system.

Hi, qwerty007.

You mentioned that you the Wi-Fi module separately, and installed it. I noticed that the issue occurred immediately after installing the Wi-Fi card module that you bought separately, we recommend that it is best to contact Asus technical support: (https://www.asus.com/support/) to check if the wireless card is fully compatible with your system (ASUS Vivobook Pro 14X Laptop). As such, you may check this link/article: (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005687/wireless.html)

Hi, qwerty007.

I understand how you feel. However, I would like to correct my previous response "Have you tried updating the driver from our download center or from the Lenovo website? " it should be from the Asus website.

You mentioned that you will put the Mediatek 7921 back on, may we know if the system properly works? If yes, please be guided that the Mediatek 7921 will be the one that fits/is compatible with your Asus laptop. As such, it is best to contact Asus technical support: (https://www.asus.com/support/) regarding the wireless card for full compatibility of your system.

Moreover, I will take note of this and we will do further research and investigate the issue.

1. No, I have not tried updating the driver from your download center or from the Lenovo website. There is no driver for the ax210 on the Asus website

2. The system works with Mediatek in the same way as with ax210. Only there are no events in the magazine that I wrote about above!

Hello, qwerty007.

Thank you for your confirmation.

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused by the wireless connection issue. I would like to inform you that this issue may result from incompatible hardware or driver on your system as this is an OEM device since the system that you are currently using is a system manufacturer that might have modified features, added customizations, or made other changes to some components for improved compatibility with his system. You may also refer to this link: (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005687/wireless.html)

Therefore, we kindly suggest contacting ASUS to verify the compatibility of the card, as this issue is beyond the scope of our support, but we can still provide some general troubleshooting steps.

Hi, qwerty007.

I trust you're doing well.

We're asking about the SSU logs (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057926/memory-and-storage.html) of your system as this will help us examine your system configuration more closely and to provide the most accurate solution for fix the issue and also to check the actual model of the Asus laptop or any error message to proof of the incompatibility or any improvement after manually installing Intel generic driver 23.20.0.4.

We've tried to search from Asus website for ASUS Vivobook Pro 14X Laptop all Model X7400, and find out the Device List shows AX201/TGL-UP3/UP4/HU_AX201 latest v22.120.0.3 released date 2022 Mar 07 [https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-home/vivobook/vivobook-pro-14x-oled-n7400-11th-gen-intel/helpdesk_download?model2Name=Vivobook-Pro-14X-OLED-N7400-11th-Gen-Intel]. As such we suggest to check with OEM of the self-integration wireless card from MediaTek 7921/AX201 to AX210 after test all latest driver from OEM website or Intel download center.

At this rate, we would recommend checking with your computer manufacturer and using the driver software provided by them to avoid potential installation incompatibilities. Intel® only supplies generic versions of Graphics Drivers for general purposes. Computer manufacturers might have changed the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the driver software or software packaging.

Since we've not heard back from you we will close this inquiry now. If you need further assistance, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
