Hi community,

I want to know the average date rates of Intel 7260 HMW in ad hoc mode (maybe 5m, 10m, 15m respectively). Do you have any test results?

Thanks,

okicekimi

Hello okicekimi,

Ad-hoc performance varies greatly depending on your hardware configuration (antenna placement, chassis material, etc). Generally, your computer manufacturer will be better suited to provide this type of information.

Please keep in mind that while our adapters do support ad-hoc mode, this is mostly for peer-to-peer networking such as Miracast* screen casting. Our driver does not support hotspot functionality.

If you're interested in this feature from a developer or system builder stand-point, we can recommend contacting your sales rep or account manager. You may also reach out to our sales team through our http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/design/resource-design-center.html Resource & Design Center.

Best regards,
