[BUG] Global VPN client stops working with Wifi Driver 22.180.0 (Wi-Fi 6E/Wi-Fi 6/9000/8000 series)

On a Lenovo Thinkpad X 6th gen Yoga laptop the new wifi driver (22.180.0, 11/15/2022, ID 19351) prevents the SonicWall Global VPN from connecting.  Rolling back the driver gets everything working again.  Would be great if this could be fixed.

System Used:
CPU: 11 gen i7-1165g7
Operating System:  MS windows 10 Pro
OS Version: 10.0.19044

Wifi: Intel Wi-FI 6 AX201

We are having same issues with MS P2S VPN on Surface devices running W10 64.

Adaptor : AX201

Driver version : 22.80.0.9

That leaves me thinking what version do we need to roll back to fix these VPN connectivity issues ? @Inte

l

Which version resolves this to you @traycerb  ?

Thanks,

DSP

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

I am sorry you are having issues with your Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201. I will be glad to assist you.

In order to better assist you, please provide the following information:

  • Was the wireless card pre-installed in your laptop, or have you changed/installed a new adapter?
  • Which is the driver version you are rolling back to?
  • Have you tested the driver with a different VPN?

As well, please perform a clean installation of the latest driver 22.180.0 and let me know if the issue persists.
