Re: Bluetooth driver for AC 7260 messing up my local network - network path not found error 0x80070035.

Hello CeeVees3,

This may be a problem in the Network configuration within Windows. In some Microsoft forums, other users mentioned they have been able to fix this error by enabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP.

Please check the following links for details:

If the issue persists, the first action we can recommend is to make sure you have the most recent driver version for your Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260.

The best option would be obtaining the drivers from your PC manufacturer, or you can use the generic versions available from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProdId=3714 Intel Download Center. Bluetooth driver: 17.1.1411.01 and Wireless Driver: 17.14.0.

Re: Bluetooth driver for AC 7260 messing up my local network - network path not found error 0x80070035.

Hello Jonathan,

I updated to the drivers you mentioned: Bluetooth .1.1400.01 and Wireless driver: 17.14.0; and I went through all the "solutions" in this thread and several others; restarted my laptop after every solutions but unfortunately still didn't work. I have to restore to my latest image where my network is working with Bluetooth deactivated.

Ever since I bought the adapter back in 07/20/2014, I have problems with the Bluetooth dropping and then messing up my local network configuration. Do you think that the adapter I bought is defected?

Do you have any other suggestions?

Re: Bluetooth driver for AC 7260 messing up my local network - network path not found error 0x80070035.

There is not enough information to confirm or discard that the adapter is defective, this could well be an Operating System issue, it can be due to incompatibility, or caused by other components in your computer.

The adapter should work fine as long as the correct drivers are installed and if it is properly plugged to the computer and antennae.

We advise you to check with the manufacturer of your PC to check for BIOS or other related system updates, as well as any compatibility implications.

For additional assistance, we would like to know the model of your computer, operating system (32 or 64 bit), and also, let us know if the adapter was installed by the computer manufacturer or if this is a custom upgrade.

Can ride this too, Ceevees3? I have an HP Envy and windows 7 offered me an update for a Toshiba Bluetooth Driver. This driver is a 30 day trial. Can you please talk to Toshiba and coordinate your drivers better. I know the the Proset driver is Toshiba but both companies can't be pushing driver to customers.

Also, I noticed Intel released in Updated Bluetooth Driver in the new Intel Driver Utility but what Toshiba installs(Client tools) and what you install are different(Bluetooth Server).

Re: Bluetooth driver for AC 7260 messing up my local network - network path not found error 0x80070035.

I would like to mention that some OEM computers are not approved to use the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 Plus Bluetooth*. The customizations of the computer components (Mobo, antennae, system software, etc) may prevent proper operation or your Wireless adapter. In some cases, installing these adapters in an unauthorized system may be illegal.

For this reason, installing or upgrading the various Intel wireless adapters by end users is not supported by Intel.

Please review the following documents for more information:

http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-011644.htm Regulatory Information Regarding Hardware Installation or Upgrade

http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-031167.htm Why Doesn't My Laptop Recognize My New Intel Wireless Adapter?

In order to discard any driver related issue please follow the next steps:

1. Download and save the current version of your Wireless adapter drivers including Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software, and also, download the Bluetooth drivers. You should use the OEM drivers as first option, which can be obtained from your http://www.intel.com/support/oems.htm Computer Manufacturer Support Web Site. If not, try with the generic drivers available from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProdId=3714 Intel® Download Center.

Current versions are 17.14.0 for WiFi and 17.1.1411.01 for Bluetooth.

2. Go to Control Panel - Programs and Uninstall Intel® PROset/Wireless Software. Also in Control Panel - Programs, Uninstall Intel® Wireless Bluetooth (if installed).

3. In Control Panel - Device Manager, go to Network Adapters, right-click on the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260, and select Uninstall, make sure to mark the option "Delete the driver software for this device".

Also in Control Panel - Device Manager, under Bluetooth radios, uninstall the Intel® Wireless Bluetooth®, selecting the option to delete the driver as well.

* After you uninstall them, do a "Scan for Hardware changes" or reboot. Check if the system installs any older driver versions for the Wireless and/or Bluetooth adapters. If it does, uninstall and delete them until the Microsoft driver is used, or until no drivers are detected for the devices.

4. Install the Wireless Adapter driver you downloaded before; then install the Bluetooth® drivers as well.
