I have Toshiba Satellite L655 and its have Intel Centrino Wireless N-1000 installed inside.I want to change its with Intel Centrino Wireless N-2230.Is its possible?

With a laptop this old, there is no way to say with any certainty that this will work. Many older laptops used Inclusion/Exclusion lists to block untested adapters from being used. Unfortunately, the only way to know is to try doing the swap.
If not blocked - and presuming that we are talking about the HMW (PCIe Half MiniCard) formfactor - it should, in theory, work. You wouldn't see much improvement in Wireless performance (still single-band Wireless-N 300Mb/s), but you do add Bluetooth 4.0 support.
