To keep it as short as I can:
I have the Intel Driver/Support Assistant installed and it is constantly telling me to update/install the "Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite for Intel® Wireless Products". However, the installer says that no ICPS hardware was detected.
I assume this is due to me using a desktop and thus not having an Evo/vPro platform (my full report is attached), but my desktop apparently came with an older version of this program installed. I normally wouldn't care, but this PC has also had constant connection dropping after I upgraded to Wifi6 routers (this is the only device with this problem) and I'm left to conclude my Intel adapter is the issue right now.
Several Questions:
1. Why am I being told to get ICPS as if I can when I'm not on an Evo/vPro platform?
2. Is there an alternative program to ICPS that I could install for a desktop?
3. Is there actually a point to keeping this older version of ICPS if it doesn't actually function?
4. Why is ICPS secluded to just Evo/vPro platforms?

Hi Osiris125,
As per investigation, we recommend to hide this update as the system is not compatible with this new version of ICPS.
