Cannot upgrade Bluetooth driver

Hi,

Intel Driver Support Assistant notified me that my Bluetooth driver is in error status and there is new version so I decided to upgrade

I uninstalled my Bluetooth driver from Device Manager, clean Temporary Files and reboot my lap. However, when I run the installation, it give me this:

Any idea how I can install the Bluetooth driver?

Thank you for your response.After analyzing the data you have provided me with, I was able to tell that in fact you do have the latest Bluetooth driver version for Windows* 7. Nevertheless, I want to make sure that it is true, please check with the Intel ® Driver & Support Assistant one more time and see if there is any update available, if so, please follow the steps below:1 - Download the latest Bluetooth driver by accessing the link below: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27864/Wireless-Intel-Wireless-Bluetooth-for-Windows-7-?product=75439 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27864/Wireless-Intel-Wireless-Bluetooth-for-Windows-7-?product=754392 - Disconnect the computer from the internet.3 - Go to device manager and locate the "Bluetooth" tab.4 - Right-click on "Intel(R) wireless" under Bluetooth and select the option "Uninstall". Make sure to select the option "Delete the driver software for this device" if applicable.5 - Restart the computer and once it is back up, run the installer downloaded back in step 1. 6 - Once completed, reboot the computer once more and connect to the internet. Unfortunately, it did not work.

In Device Manager, it showed BT option like this:

After I disconnected and uninstalled it, the driver would be automatically reinstalled again after reboot:

Thanks for the link. I was quite surprise that Intel assistant recognized my BT driver as Intel.

It looks like my issue is solved.
