Hello,
I own a notebook Toshiba Satellite P855-34K with Intel Centrino Wireless N-2230. All worked perfectly with Windows 8.
After Windows 8.1 upgrade and having installed the newest drivers for Intel Centrino Wireless N-2230 from the Intel website (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23335&lang=ita&OSVersion=Windows%208.1*&DownloadType=Applicazioni%20software Area download as instructed from Toshiba Support, the bluetooth is still not working.
My notebook can send a picture via Bluetooth to my phone, but I can NOT do the vice versa: it can discover and pair with my phone but the connectivity lasts about 15 seconds.
I can send a file from notebook to my phone via Bluetooth but I can NOT send a file from the phone to the notebook.
I add that wireless led is always on, even if airplane mode is activated, wireless disabled and Bluetooth disabled. Moreover, it is possible to enable Bluetooth even with airplane mode activated.
I found exactly alike issues in other people owning PC with Intel Centrino Wireless N-2230, here is the link:http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-hardware/bluetooth-doesnt-work-for-laptop-hp-envy/a7d0e9ce-6b4a-4c2a-b983-3d25dc29ec98 bluetooth doesn&# 39;t work for laptop HP ENVY TouchSmart m6 Sleekbook - Microsoft Community
Many Thanks

Please verify if you also have this driver installed: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23258 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23258

Bosskosvk, your issue seems to be completely different that what is presented in this thread. We suggest you contacting the system manufacturer for a list of validated adapters since the integration of wireless adapters is subject to compatibility and wireless regulatory approvals.

Gabriele, 68 have you verified the devices are close to each other and no interference between them?
