I have an 11th Generation core 7 MSI Katana GF76 11UD laptop with an
Intel AX201 wifi chip in it.
I would like to upgrade that chip.
I was told by someone to try the AX211 or AX411 chip - both of which failed to work.
Apparently the AX411 requires generation 12, but I don't know why the AX211 failed.
Someone else suggested the AX1675x or AX210
Which chip can I upgrade to?

Hello joshace
Thank you for posting on the Intel Communities. I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue trying to upgrade the wireless adapter on your laptop.
When upgrading the wireless adapter there can be some regulatory limitations or hardware limitations since each piece of hardware is customized in a certain way by the manufacturer. In order to know the compatible adapters for your laptop, please contact your laptop manufacturer which is MSI.
Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel. I appreciate your understanding.
Best Regards,
Hugo O.
